The Angkor Odyssey

Upon arrival at the new Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport, your private AGS host will escort you to the Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor. Since 1932, this has been the sanctuary for royalty and celebrities. Check in, admire the original timber-cage elevator, and soak in the 15 acres of French gardens.

Round 1: Phokeethra Country Club
We waste no time, heading to the Phokeethra Country Club (managed by Sofitel). This was the first international-standard course in Cambodia and a former host of the Asian Tour. It is a strategic layout defined by a historic 11th-century "Roluos" bridge spanning the water hazard on the 18th hole.

The Evening: Sundowners at the Elephant Bar. This is the most iconic bar in Cambodia. Sip an "Airavata" cocktail (a blend of secret spirits) as you debrief on the day’s play in a room that breathes history.

Today, the clubs stay in the hotel. We are here for the Eighth Wonder of the World.

• The Sunrise Entry: We avoid the main gates. Your AGS guide will take you through a "back door" forest path to witness Angkor Wat as the light hits the sandstone, bypassing the thousands of selfie-sticks.

• The Jungle Roots: Explore Ta Prohm (the "Tomb Raider" temple) where giant silk-cotton trees reclaim the ruins, followed by the enigmatic faces of Bayon.

Evening: Dinner at Cuisine Wat Damnak. This isn't a tourist restaurant; it's a culinary laboratory that has been ranked among Asia’s 50 Best. It offers a refined, "unfiltered" take on Cambodian ingredients.

Today we play the flagship of Cambodian golf: Angkor Golf Resort. Designed by Sir Nick Faldo, this is a "pure" golfer’s course. Impeccably maintained with Paspalum grass, it demands strategic positioning and rewards the thinking player. It is arguably the best-conditioned course in Southeast Asia.

The Recovery Ritual:
Return to Raffles for a session in the Raffles Spa. We recommend the "Traditional Khmer Massage", a dry massage designed to increase "Qi" and flexibility, essential for the final round.

Our final competitive round is at Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club. Featuring wide fairways but punishing bunkering, it provides a distinct architectural contrast to the Faldo course and sets the stage for a dramatic leaderboard finish.

The Grand Finale: The Bespoke Temple Dinner
For our farewell, we experience the pinnacle of "Unfiltered" luxury. In collaboration with Raffles, we host a Private Gala Dinner at a 10th-Century Temple. Under a canopy of stars and flickering torches, you will dine in the courtyard of a secluded Angkorian ruin. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience featuring:

• A five-course progressive Khmer menu paired with fine wines.
• Traditional Apsara celestial dance performances.
• The crowning of the Siem Reap Champion within the walls of an ancient empire.

Enjoy a final morning by the Raffles Pool - one of the largest and most stylish in the region, inspired by the ancient Royal Baths. Take a walk through the local Psar Chaa (Old Market) for high-end Khmer silk or Kampot pepper before your private transfer to the airport.
