AGS Course Heritage — Phuket Coastal Gem
Aquella Golf
Resort & Country Club
"Platinum paspalum fairways, Andaman panoramas — Phuket's modern coastal standout."
The Overview
Aquella Golf Resort & Country Club represents Phuket's most modern premium golf offering — a meticulously crafted coastal facility featuring platinum paspalum turf throughout the course, a playing surface prized in tropical golf for its salt tolerance, visual vibrancy, and superior playability in humid conditions. The result is fairways and greens that look and play immaculately regardless of Phuket's seasonal weather.
The course design takes full advantage of its coastal positioning — multiple holes play off elevated tees with Andaman Sea panoramas, and the routing thread between the island's hillside and coastal terrain creates a pleasing variety of hole shapes and challenge levels. It is a course that rewards both experienced tournament golfers and resort visitors approaching the game more casually.
AGS recommends Aquella for clients who want a premium but comfortable Phuket round alongside the dramatic experiences of Red Mountain and Blue Canyon. Its modern facilities and excellent service standards make it a natural fit for any high-end Phuket golf program.

The Curator's Brief
Aquella Golf Resort & Country Club is a premium championship coastal, andaman sea views golf course located in Thailand. Designed by Pacific Coast Design, this elite facility operates as a strict Par 72 layout, stretching to a formidable over 7,000 Yards from the championship tees.
Engineered for international touring groups, the course demands precise shot-making and strategic course management. Asia Golf Specialists (AGS) officially partners with Aquella Golf Resort & Country Club to guarantee priority tee time access, VIP caddie requests, and seamless private ground transportation from your luxury basecamp directly to the first tee box. As a highly regulated facility, walk-in tee times for large international groups are notoriously difficult to secure during the high season (February through May).
According to internal logistical data, AGS recommends incorporating this specific course into a wider multi-day itinerary to perfectly balance coastal links exposure with distinct coastal, andaman sea views challenges. By booking through the AGS Local Guardian network, players bypass public booking queues and experience an uncompromising, fully managed luxury golf experience.
